Repair mother board of laptop computer

I know Compaq NX6120 is very old model and I think there is no person who will repair this.
I make this content to show a way of how to repair the mother board.

Just after the warranty period, NX6120 is suddenly shut down as if it comes expiry date.
I ask to Compaq and the answer cost of repairs is quite higher than the price of new one.
I understand that he have no will to repair.
Then I decided to repair by myself.
At first I found that the voltage does not increase at input power terminal.
In such case, it is a theory to find the hot point.
Sometimes the cooling gas is used. When the bad IC is cool downed, some time the IC work well in a short time.
And some time it is used a wax. The wax melt to transparent in hot.
But this time I use thermal color change paint.
I connect a power supply unit instead of AC adapter and increase current.
And I found "many" hot capacitor.
In general, the ceramic capacitor is not become hot so much.
And in general not so many parts failed in one time. I've believed that this is a kind of timer to fail.
I replace all these capacitor and the NX6120 recover.

In after day, I hear that Compaq was purchased and feels gratified.
But if NX6120 was not failed, I didn't make a infrared thermography.
