Handmade infrared thermography

Photos shows the basic structure of my infrared thermography.
The radiant heat is collected by the parabolic mirror to the thermal color changed surface. The surface can be seen through the hole of mirror.
The color change at 60 degree Celsius of target temperature.

DIY generator for a small wind power generation

I made a kind of axial air gap generator.
To reduce a magnetic resistance, I use the core in the coil.
To reduce cogging torque, I select the numbers of each magnet and coil.
For converting from many phase to d.c., I use full-wave voltage doubler.

Vacuum deposition

Not translated. And may be not. My conclusion is that the vacuum deposition is not suit for DIY, because it seems to use a used Turbo Molecular Pump and it is very dangerous when in failed. Very heavy parts disperse at high speed. If a used TMP is used, the probability of this failure will become high by leaps and bounds.
