Handmade infrared thermography

I show you only a result in this page.
　
Above photos shows the roughly reproduced my infrared thermography for explaining the structure.
The radiant heat is collected by the parabolic mirror to the thermal color changed surface.
The surface can be seen through the hole of mirror.
The thermo-paint is sprayed on the foamed polystyrene to increase thermal resistance.
The temperature of the color change of surface is 30 degree Celsius.
The color change from dark green to white at 30 degree Celsius.
The color change temperature of target is about 60 degree Celsius.
Follows photos are the results.
Target is a thermal gun for a hot-melt adhesives with heat resistant tape.
The surface of attached area of the tape is colored to black. (Not shown well.)
The target area is dark and target surface is bright.
The thermal gun is powered off before temperature rise up to full, because 110 degree Celsius is too high for the target.
The image on the target is inverted by the mirror.
　 　
If you use a wide temperature range thermal color change ink, or use bigger mirror, you may see the body temperature.
